Adobe Animate (formerly Adobe Wink Professional, Macromedia Flash, and FutureSplash Animator) is a multimedia authoring and computer blitheness programme adult by Adobe Inc.[1]

Animate is used to design vector graphics and animation for television series, online animation, websites, web applications, rich web applications, game development, commercials, and other interactive projects. The program also offers back up for raster graphics, rich text, audio video embedding, and ActionScript three.0 scripting. Animations may be published for HTML5, WebGL, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) animation and spritesheets, and legacy Flash Thespian (SWF) and Adobe AIR formats.[2] The developed projects as well extend to applications for Android, iOS, Windows Desktop and MacOS.

It was first released in 1996 as FutureSplash Animator, so renamed Macromedia Wink upon its acquisition by Macromedia. Information technology served as the main authoring environment for the Adobe Flash platform, vector-based software for creating animated and interactive content. It was renamed Adobe Breathing in 2016 to more accurately reflect its market position then, since over a third of all content created in Animate uses HTML5.[2] [3] [four]

The first version of Adobe Flash/Adobe Animate was FutureSplash Animator, a vector graphics and vector animations program released in May 1996. FutureSplash Animator was adult by FutureWave Software, a small software company whose first product, SmartSketch, was a vector-based drawing program for pen-based computers. With the implosion of the pen-oriented operated systems, it was ported to Microsoft Windows besides as Apple Inc.'s Classic Mac OS. In 1995, the visitor decided to add animation abilities to their product and to create a vector-based animation platform for World Wide Spider web; hence FutureSplash Animator was created. (At that time, the only way to deploy such animations on the spider web was through the use of Coffee.) ActionScript two.0 was released with this version, enabling object-oriented programming but defective the easier "Script assist" method of writing code. Macromedia Wink eight 2005 Macromedia Flash 8 icon.png Released with Wink Player eight, new features include graphical filters (blur, drib shadow, glow, etc.) and alloy modes, easing control for blitheness, enhanced stroke properties (caps and joins), object-based drawing style, run-time bitmap caching, FlashType avant-garde anti-aliasing for text, On2 VP6 advanced video codec, support for alpha transparency in video, a stand-alone encoder and advanced video importer, cue point back up in FLV files, an avant-garde video playback component, and an interactive mobile device emulator.[21]

Macromedia Flash Basic 8, a "lite" version of the Flash authoring tool targeted to new users who just wanted to practice a basic drawing, animation, and interactivity. The Basic production was eventually stopped.
